Gujarat Vrudh Sahay Yojana has been launched by the Ministry of Rural Development in Gujarat. Older persons who are 60 years and above, as well as those who fall below the poverty line, are provided benefits under the Vrudh Sahay Yojana, as per the norms set by the Government of India from time to time.
Gujarat Vidhva Sahay Yojana 2024
Through the implementation of the Gujarat vidhva Pension Sahay Scheme, financial funds will be provided to all of the widows of the Gujarat state. The importance of this scheme is that it will provide financial funds to all of the widows who want to provide for their families but they are not able to provide because of a lack of education or because they belong below the poverty line group. The incentive will be provided to all of the Widows so that they have a healthy lifestyle in the near future and they can also carry forward their child’s education.
Eligibility for benefit of the scheme
Niradhar Vruddho ane Niradhar Apango na Nibhav Mate Nanakiy Sahay has been prescribed the following eligibility by Director Social Security Department .
- Applicant beneficiary should be sixty (60) years of age or above.
- Applicant should not have son aged 21 years or above.
- Disabled applicant should be more than 45 years of age and disability should be more than 75%.
- If the beneficiary’s son is 21 years (adult) but is mentally unstable or suffering from serious illness like cancer, TB then the destitute elderly can get the benefit of the financial assistance scheme of the state government.
- Beneficiary should be a permanent resident of Gujarat state for at least more than 10 (ten) years.

Gujarat Vidhva Sahay Yojana Benefits
There are many benefits of the Gujarat vidhva Sahay Yojana and one of the main benefits is the availability of financial funds which will be directly transferred into the bank account of the beneficiaries. The scheme is a 100% government-funded scheme in that no beneficiaries have to give any amount of money from their own pocket. Every and each penny that will be distributed to the beneficiaries is coming directly from the government of Gujarat state.
